What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed six people at Fannin St in Houston, TX on November 11th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2 a.m. According to investigators, an Acura SUV was headed southbound on Fannin St, approaching the Pierce St intersection. Officials allege an eastbound Chrysler 300 ran a red light at the intersection, colliding with the Acura and ejecting two occupants. Following the collision, sources say the Chrysler veered from the road onto a sidewalk, striking a pedestrian. Officials say the crash left 33-year-old D.J. Hayden, Zach McMillan and Ralph Oragwu with fatal injuries. Sources say Jeffrey Lewis was hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Additional information was not immediately available.
