What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a motorcyclist at FM 236 in Victoria County, TX on October 15th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:40 a.m. According to investigators, a motorcycle operated by 48-year-old Dalton Kellis was northbound on FM 236 before allegedly veered from its lane for unclear reasons. The vehicle is said to have veered into a barrow ditch, striking a culvert. The impact caused Kellis to be ejected from the vehicle, suffering fatal injuries at the scene.
