What Happened

Area authorities have information on a crash that killed a driver at I-10 near Rose City, TX on January 29th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:30 a.m. According to investigators, a westbound Dodge Ram is believed to veer from the road and lost control. While attempting to correct onto the road, the vehicle struck a road sign and the impact caused the vehicle to overturn. Chavez Reyes was taken to an area hospital with injuries he later died from. Police had no additional information to share at this time.
