What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 181 in Bee County, TX on March 22nd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:01 a.m. According to investigators, a Honda Accord that was allegedly headed northbound on a southbound lane without active headlights collided with a Harley Davidson. The motorcyclist was ejected and suffered fatal injuries at the scene. The victim was identified as 28-year-old Darian Tyler Estrada. The other driver was taken to an area hospital with undisclosed injuries. Officers allege the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash and had no additional information to share.
