What Happened

Authorities identified a motorcyclist killed in a crash at FM 400 in Hidalgo County, TX on October 30th, 2022. Police named 44-year-old David Franco as the victim in the incident. According to investigators, Franco was operating a Harley-Davidson motorcycle headed eastbound on FM 490 around 4:49 p.m. The bike was approaching a curve and due to the speed it was traveling at, ended up veering from the road. It struck a chain link fence and the collision was severe enough to cause fatal injuries. Investigators were not yet able to provide more concrete information.
