What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at FM 1960 in Harris County, TX on October 13th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4:05 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Express van is said to have failed to control its speed before colliding with the rear of a Kia Spectra. Police allege the vehicle fled the area before colliding with other vehicles, including a Toyota Corolla operated by 68-year-old Debra Bridgewater. Officials say Bridgewater was seriously injured in the crash while the Spectra operator, a 27-year-old Cleveland, TX man, had possible injuries. The Chevrolet operator had minor injuries, police say, and reports indicate the a DWI charge was recommended and/or issued against the driver.
