What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at US 271 in Tyler, TX on May 18th, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 4:20 p.m. According to investigators, a Subaru Outback is alleged to have run a red light before colliding with a Nissan Rogue at an intersection. The impact caused the Subaru to travel into oncoming traffic, striking a motorcycle. The motorcyclist, identified as 55-year-old Robert Miller and passenger 72-year-old Debra Orcutt, were seriously injured, reports say. The driver of the Subaru was charged with Red Light Violation.
