What Happened

San Antonio Police identified the person killed in a crash at 7900 Prue Rd in San Antonio, TX on November 15th, 2020. Officials say the incident happened around 1 a.m. 18-year-old Dominique Orta was backseat passenger in a vehicle that was struck after another vehicle attempted to re-enter the lane behind it from having pulled beside. The vehicle she was in veered onto a telephone pole and broke apart before overturning and ejecting her from the vehicle. The vehicle landed on top of her and she suffered fatal injuries. The two men inside, including the driver, suffered no injuries. The driver, 18-year-old Ivan Joseph Duran, was charged with intoxication assault.
