What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed a person at FM 1402 in Titus County, TX on July 4th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:30 p.m. Investigators believe a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 43-year-old Donald Craig was headed southbound, approaching a curve in the road. The vehicle is said to have lost control at the curve before going onto a skid and traveling into a bar ditch. The vehicle also struck a truck, the impact leaving Craig with fatal injuries.
