What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured several people at I-20 in Parker County, TX on August 23rd, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:45 p.m. Investigators say a Nissan Versa operated by 66-year-old Peter Shaw was westbound on the service road at a stop sign. Following coming to a stop, police say the vehicle was proceeding through the intersection with FM 113 when it was struck by a Dodge Ram. Officials allege suspicion of one of the vehicles possibly failing to yield at the intersection. The crash left two occupants of the Nissan, identified as 63-year-old Donna Shaw and 32-year-old Erin Shaw, with suspected non-life-threatening injuries. An additional occupant of the Nissan, who was not identified, suffered suspected serious injuries, according to authorities. Officials say the Dodge operator was not injured and additional information was not available.
