What Happened

Leon County Police released the name of the woman killed in an accident on Hwy 79 in Leon County, TX on April 20th, 2018. 69-year-old Dorothy Ann Truelock was killed when her vehicle was struck by a semi-truck driven by Kevin Donelle Banks. Banks had reportedly been attempting to reach a fallen water bottle in his cab when he lost control of the vehicle and clipped Truelock's vehicle. The impact threw her from the car and caused it to overturn. She was pronounced dead at the scene. Banks was later charged with criminally negligent homicide.
