What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a person at US 59 in Houston, TX on January 29th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:55 a.m. According to investigators,  a Nissan Versa headed westbound veered from its lane for unknown reasons. The vehicle crashed into traffic impact barrels before hitting a nearby concrete wall. The impact caused fatal injuries to the driver, an unidentified male. His passenger was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Additional information was not yet available.
