Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a pedestrian at US 75 in Allen, TX on July 24th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:46 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Taurus operated by a 48-year-old unnamed woman was traveling northbound on US 75 when it collided with a a pedestrian said to have been wearing dark clothing in a poorly lit area. The pedestrian, identified as Earnestine Griffin, suffered fatal injuries in the collision. Police allege Griffin was impaired at the time of the collision.
