What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that killed a driver at RM 2721 in Gillespie County, TX on April 15th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 7:47 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-250 operated by 23-year-old Erick Gonzalez Bermudez was going eastbound on FM 2721 when the vehicle veered to the north side of the road for unknown reasons. While attempting to correct back onto the road, the vehicle struck a fence before overturned into a tree. The impact caused Bermudez to be ejected from the vehicle and fatal injuries as a result. No other vehicles or injuries were reportedly involved. Additional information was not immediately available.
