What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured at least two people at US 60 in Parmer County, TX on August 8th, 2022. Police say it happened around 6:39 a.m. According to investigators, a tractor-trailer operated by a 39-year-old Hereford, TX man was headed westbound on US 60 to enter a private driveway before colliding with a southwest bound Toyota Prius operated by 45-year-old Everest Derrick Williams.  The impact left Williams and a 12-year-old passenger with serious injuries. The Hereford man was reportedly uninjured and records indicate a charge/citation of Failure to Yield Row at Intersection was recommended and/or issued.
