What Happened

State Police are investigating a crash that injured a person at US 59 in Houston, TX on June 23rd, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 5:06 a.m. According to investigators, a Kenworth truck operated by a 63-year-old South Houston man was headed southbound prior to striking a raised toad sign, causing the truck to lost control. It struck a Toyota Corolla operated by 59-year-old Felipe Ruiz, who, according to reports, was seriously injured. The Houston man was evaluated for possible injuries.
