What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured four people at West Parmer Ln in Austin, TX on October 25th, 2023. Officials say the incident happened around 4:23 p.m. According to investigates, a Nissan Altima was allegedly fleeing police pursuit by splitting traffic lanes at westbound Parmer. While doing so, the vehicle collided with the rear of a Volkswagen Jetta and Kia Soul. Reports say the Nissan continued forward before also trucking a tractor-trailer. The drivers of the Volkswagen, Kia and tractor-trailer had minor injuries, reports say. The Nissan Altima was more seriously injured, according to police, who allege the driver exhibited signs of suspected alcohol intoxication at the scene. Additional information was not available.
