What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at I-45 in Conroe, TX on August 29th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:29 a.m. According to investigators, a Tesla Model 3 operated by 84-year-old Frances Adams was westbound on in a parking garage structure prior to losing control for unconfirmed reasons. The vehicle accelerate forward, police say, crashing into a concrete wall before also striking two parked, unoccupied vehicles. Both Adams and a front seat passenger, identified as 87-year-old James Adams, were hospitalized with injuries that were fatal. Authorities did not have any additional information available.
