What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured three people at US 380 in McKinney, TX on December 26th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:02 a.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 1500 operated by a 20-year-old McKinney man was headed northbound on Coleman St when it allegedly ran a stop sign and collided with an eastbound Ford Edge operated by 44-year-old Francisco Hernandez. Hernandez and a passenger, 40-year-old Aurelia Ruiz Mendez, suffered minor injuries. A second passenger, age 22, was more seriously injured. The McKinney man was not injured and officers recommended and/or issued an Intoxication Assault charge.
