What Happened

Area authorities have information on a two-vehicle crash that injured a driver at 8th St in Odessa, TX on May 6th, 2023. Police say it happened around 3:40 p.m. Investigators allege a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 25-year-old Gideon Donner was westbound on 8th Street, approaching a Kia Optima ahead stopped in traffic. Police say the Chevrolet failed to control its speed and collided with the Kia. They further allege the Chevrolet left the scene of this collision and was involved in a second crash that left Donner seriously injured.
