What Happened

Area authorities are investing a crash that killed a person at Southcross Blvd in San Antonio, TX on December 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12:51 a.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Renegade operated by an unnamed 43-year-old San Antonio man was headed northbound on WW White Rd before it collided with the side of an eastbound Toyota Camry. A passenger in the Toyota, identified as 69-year-old Gilbert Garcia, suffered fatal injuries in the collision. The driver, identified as 69-year-old Sandra Garcia, was seriously injured. Officers issued an Intoxication Manslaughter charge against the Jeep driver. Additional information was not immediately available.
