What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a Good Samaritan at North Loop in Houston, TX on March 6th, 2023. Police say it happened around 7:25 p.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Santa Fe was in a shoulder lane with a flat tire. Police say a Dodge Ram stopped to assist the driver and parked ahead of the Hyundai. The driver, who has not been named, is said to have exited the vehicle and walked to the rear of the Hyundai. While helping with the tire, the driver was struck by a Toyota Corolla. Thee Toyota was also struck by a vehicle, and that vehicle left the scene. Th driver of the Toyota was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries while the Good Samaritan suffered fatal injuries. Additional information was not provided.
