What Happened

Police in the are are investigating a crash that injured a driver at University Parks Dr in Waco, TX on December 16th, 2022. Officers are saying the crash happened around 12:03 a.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Compass operated by 21-year-old Kendall Richards was headed northbound on University Park Dr. A Chevrolet Trax operated by 19-year-old Grace Countryman was traveling southbound. The Jeep is alleged to have veered into oncoming traffic and struck the Chevrolet. The impact caused the Chevrolet to overturn, causing Countryman serious injuries. Richards was evaluated for injuries and officers recommended an intoxication assault charge.
