What Happened

Odessa Police have information related to a crash that injured a driver at I-20 in Odessa, TX on April 18th, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 5:34 a.m. A Dodge Ram 1500 operated by 31-year-old Guadalupe Vargas reportedly collided with the rear of a Mack commercial truck stopped at a stop sign intersection. Vargas suffered serious injuries in the collision. The driver of the truck, a 35-year-old Midland, TX man, was not injured.
