Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at Guadalupe St in San Marcos, TX on July 15th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 9:06 p.m. According to investigators, a GMC Sierra operated by a 22-year-old man is alleged to have been traveling at a high rate of speed before leaving the road and crashing into a utility pole. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as 19-year-old Hayden Smith, suffered fatal injuries. A second passenger, age 27 and not publicly identified, suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
