Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed at person at FM 787 in Liberty County, TX on September 27th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 7 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Wrangler operated by 52-year-old Heather Lynn Scott was headed westbound on FM 787 when it veered from the road for unknown reasons. While attempting to correct back onto the road, the vehicle lost control and went into a roll. Scott was partially ejected from the vehicle, suffering fatal injuries at the scene.
