What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 1171 in Flower Mound, TX on November 25th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 1:10 a.m. According to investigators, a Hyundai Elantra operated by 23-year-old Hernan Santiago Bautista was headed westbound when it veered from the road for unclear reasons. It hit a curb and while attempting to return to the rear it went up an embankment and hit a power pole. Following this, it struck a tree, leaving Santiago Bautista with fatal injuries. Officers had no additional information to share.
