What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at I-30 in Dallas, TX on January 30th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 10:17 p.m. According to investigators, a commercial truck operated by a 35-year-old Carrollton man was headed westbound before losing control for unknown reasons and colliding with a Dodge Ram 1500 and Toyota FJ Cruiser. Police say the Toyota was disabled in a lane of traffic at the time of the collision and say its driver, 73-year-old Herve Lequien, suffered fatal injuries. The other drivers were not injured, according to police. Additional information was not immediately available.
