What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured two people on US 59 in Polk County, TX on January 22nd, 2019. 54-year-old Hope Williams and 48-year-old Etta Skinner were passengers in a vehicle driven by 56-year-old Edward Johnson. Williams and Skinner were both injured when Johnson's vehicle rear-ended a semi-truck. Johnson was not injured. The semi-truck driver, 30-year-old Uriel Gonzalez, was also injured.
