What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a crash that killed a driver at US 380 in Farmersville, TX on April 1st, 2023. Officials say it happened around 7:41 a.m. According to investigators, a Toyota Avalon and Dodge Ram were both headed westbound before the Avalon struck part of the the rear of the Dodge. The Toyota is allege to have continued forward before traveling into the eastbound lanes and colliding with an eastbound Ford F-150. The crash left the driver of the Toyota, 21-year-old Hunter Baird, with fatal injuries. The driver of Ford is alleged to have had non-life-threatening injuries while two child passengers are believed to have been seriously injured. Additional information was not available.
