What Happened

Authorities have issued a charge against a driver in connection with a crash at Pasadena Blvd in Harris County, TX on December 31st, 2022. Police believe it happened around 11:25 p.m. According to investigators, a Jeep Grand Cherokee operated by 24-year-old Luis Reyes was going eastbound on Pasadena Blvd. A Nissan Altima operated by 22-year-old Ilich Reyes doing westbound on Southmore Ave. The Nissan began to turn onto Pasadena Blvd and as it did so, it was struck head-on with the Jeep. Police say Mr. Reyes exited the Jeep and left the scene on-foot before later being apprehended. The Nissan operator was seriously injured, according to police. Mr. Reyes has been charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid. Additional information was not provided.
