What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a man at McKee St in Dallas, TX on January 1st, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 2:30 a.m. According to investigators, a Nissan Titan was northbound on Botham Hean before colliding with an unoccupied Jeep Wrangler at public building. The impact is said to have caused a motorcycle nearby to be struck, which in turn caused a pedestrian nearby to also be struck. The pedestrian, only identified as a 30-year-old Irving man, was allegedly seriously injured. The 26-year-old Dallas man operating the Nissan had possible injuries, reports say. Reports also allege the man may have been under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. Additional information was not available.
