What Happened

Austin Police have arrested a driver in connection with a fatal crash at Riverside Dr in Austin, TX on November 4th, 2022. Officials say it happened around 5:22 p.m. Officials say a vehicle operated by 30-year-old Crystal Dominguez collided with 62-year-old pedestrian, Jacky Gaschot, under unclear circumstances. Gaschot was killed in the collision. Dominguez and a second pedestrian were hospitalized with undisclosed injuries. Dominguez was charged with intoxication manslaughter and intoxication assault in connection with the crash.
