What Happened

Fort Worth Police have confirmed the name of the person killed in the train accident at West 7th St in Fort Worth, TX on March 12th, 2023. Police say the incident happened sometime before 9:30 p.m., when 27-year-old Jade Wear was pronounced dead. Investigators say Wear was pinned between two train cars, allegedly after trying to pass between the cars. She was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries following emergency extrication and it was there that officials  pronounced Wear dead. Right now, additional information was not available.
