Police say the incident happened around 12:57 a.m. According to investigators, a BMW 3 series was 28-year-old Houston man was headed southbound on Cullen Blvd. Police say the vehicle collided with a pedestrian crossing west to east, identified as 44-year-old James Lauderdale.
