Authorities are investigating a crash that killed a driver at FM 139 in Shelby County, TX on March 2nd, 2024. Police say the incident happened around 8:50 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado was northbound on FM 139, approaching a curve in the roadway. Reports say the vehicle lost control at the curve, for unconfirmed reasons, striking a stop sign in the process. The vehicle is said to have overturned in the impact, ejecting the driver from the vehicle. The driver, identified as 25-year-old James Witter, was fatally injured.
