What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Mount Houston Rd in Harris County, TX on July 5th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:50 p.m. According to investigators, a Dodge Ram 1500 operated by a 35-year-old Houston man was westbound before allegedly entering into the eastbound lanes. From there, police say the vehicle was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes before colliding with a Dodge Charger operated by 22-year-old Jasmin Diaz. Authorities say Diaz was seriously injured while a 21-year-old passenger had less serious injuries. The Houston man operating the Ram also had suspected serious injuries and all injured parties were hospitalized for treatment. Additional information was not available.
