What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials have information on a single-vehicle crash that left a driver dead at FM 115 in Franklin County, TX on February 11th, 2023. Police are saying it happened around 5:09 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 60-year-old Jeffrey Vititow was headed southbound on FM 115. The vehicle is alleged to have veered forms he roadway and over a driveway, traveling airborne in the process. Upon landing, the vehicle overturned into a west bar ditch, ejecting Vititow from the vehicle. He suffered fatal injuries as a result of the crash. Police did not disclose additional information.
