What Happened

A driver was charged with Failure to Stop and Render Aid in connection with a two-vehicle crash at Hwy 6 in Harris County, TX on December 17th, 2022. Officers say it happened around 10:35 p.m. and involved a Jeep Grand Cherokee and Toyota RAV4. The Jeep, operated by 40-year-old Jerry Silva, collided with the rear of the Toyota while stopped for a red light. The Toyota was operated by an unnamed 32-year-old male, who was injured. His 30-year-old passenger, identified as 30-year-old Jenny Castro, had minor injuries. Silva was also reportedly uninjured and arrested on the FSRA charge.
