What Happened

Waco Police are investigating a crash that injured three people at East Waco Dr in Waco, TX on April 11th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 4 p.m. and involved a Chevrolet pickup truck colliding with another vehicle. They say the truck was headed eastbound when it allegedly failed to yield and collided with a Hyundai Accent operated by a 17-year-old girl. The collision is believed to have caused serious injuries to her passenger, 64-year-old Jerome Holder Jr. The teen had less serious injuries, as did the 58-year-old Bellmead man operating the Chevrolet. Officers recommended and/or issued an Intoxication Assault charge against the driver. Additional information was not available.
