What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed one person at State Hwy 34 in Kaufman, TX on August 27th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:50 a.m. According to investigators, a Suzuki GSX-R600 operated by 19-year-old Jordan McClenny was northbound on Hwy 34 before losing control for unknown reasons. Police say the vehicle crossed a center median before sliding across the southbound lanes where it was struck by an approaching Toyota Rav4. Police say McClenny suffered fatal injuries in the incident.
