What Happened

A multi-vehicle crash left two people with serious injuries at I-10 in Harris County, TX on February 27th, 2023. Police believe it happened around 3:56 p.m. Several vehicles were headed eastbound on the interstate in a middle travel lane at the time, including a tractor-trailer operated by 56-year-old Victoriano Recinos. Investigators allege the truck failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of one of the vehicles, a Ford F-150 operated by 69-year-old Jose Manuel Cantu. The impact caused a chain reaction involving the other vehicles and left Cantu with injuries believed to be serious. The driver of one of the other vehicles, an unnamed 24-year-old Pearland man, was also seriously injured.  None of the other drivers or passengers were injured, according to police.

If that's not enough information, you might need an Open Records Packet. An ORP is essentially all evidence that the authorities have collected. It usually contains photos, witness statements, measurements, and more and goes way beyond the police report.
