What Happened

Houston Police are investigating a crash that killed a man at N Sam Houston Pkwy in Houston, TX on February 15th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 3:20 p.m. According to investigators, a Ford F-650 was headed westbound when it collided with the rear a box truck. The impact pushed the box truck into a Chevrolet Tahoe which was pushed into a median wall. The tow truck driver, identified as 46-year-old Joseph "Joey" Socia, suffered fatal injuries.
