What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that injured a driver at US 80 and Main St in Gladewater, TX on April 22nd, 2021. Police say the incident happened around 12:56 p.m. A Chrysler 300 was reported by witnesses and captured by surveillance video striking a dump truck. After the impact, the car traveled from the road through a pair of parking lots before eventually hitting a metal awning and a building retaining wall. The driver, 24-year-old Joshua Leon Odom, suffered serious injuries.
