What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that killed two people at Link 62A in Morrill County, NE on September 27th, 2022. Police say the incident happened around 12 p.m. According to investigators, a Subaru Forester was headed westbound on Link 62A as it passed a westbound semi-truck in an attempt to make a left turn. Police say the vehicle allegedly turned into the path of the truck and the vehicles collided, causing fatal injuries to the occupants of the Forester. They were identified as 74-year-old Joyce Glaesemann and 75-year-old William Glaesemann. The driver of the semi-truck, 46-year-old Victor Hernandez, was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. Additional information was not available.
