What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at State Hwy 71 in Austin, TX on June 1st, 2020. Officials say the incident happened around 1:12 a.m. A vehicle operated by 49-year-old Juan Polomino reportedly lost control while traveling at a high rate of a speed and collided with a construction barrier. A passenger in the vehicle was hospitalized with serious injuries. Polomino suffered minor injuries and was arrested and charged with intoxication assault.
