What Happened

Area authorities have information on a crash that killed a driver at US 385 in Ector County, TX on February 19th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 11:52 p.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Silverado operated by 37-year-old Primitivo Guerrero was headed southbound in a northbound lane prior to colliding with a second Chevrolet Silverado. The driver of the second truck, identified as 23-year-old Juan Rodriguez Jr, suffered fatal injuries in the collision. A 20-year-old passenger had serious injuries while Guerrero is said to have had sustained less serious injuries. Officers allege suspicion that Guerrero displayed signs of intoxication.
