What Happened

Texas Department of Public Safety officials are investigating a crash that killed two people involved at FM 3136 in Johnson County, TX on August 13th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 12:45 a.m. According to investigators, a Ford Mustang operated by 21-year-old Noah Justice was allegedly headed eastbound, approaching a curve in the roadway. The vehicle is said to have lost control for unconfirmed reasons, veering from the road into a north arrow ditch. Investigators say a left rear wheel of the vehicle detached, causing the vehicle to overturn. This caused the occupants of the vehicle to be ejected from the vehicle. Both Justice and 22-year-old passenger, Justin Brown, suffered fatal injuries. An additional occupant, identified as 21-year-old Nash Mosoba, suffered suspected serious injuries and was hospitalized for treatment. Additional information was not immediately available.
