What Happened

Area authorities are investigating a crash that injured two people at UTSA Blvd in San Antonio, TX on August 9th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 2:24 a.m. According to investigators, a Chrysler 300 operated by a 25-year-old driver is alleged to have lost control while turning west out of a parking lot. The vehicle is said to overcorrected before crashing into a nearby tree. One passenger, identified as 22-year-old Kail Slataer, is believed to have suffered serious injuries. A second passenger, age 20, had less serious injuries, according to police. The driver had possible injuries and an Intoxication Assault charge was recommended and/or issued against the driver.
