What Happened

Authorities are investigating a crash that injured a driver at Cimarron Blvd in Corpus Christi, TX in March 9th, 2023. Police say the incident happened around 3:50 a.m. According to investigators, a Chevrolet Suburban operated by an unnamed 34-year-old Corpus Christi man was headed northbound in a left travel lane. A Ford Focus operated by 29-year-old Kathleen Morris was in a center median, preparing to make a turn into a private drive. Officers say the Suburban veered left, colliding head-on with the Ford. Morris suffered serious injuries in the crash, according to police. The Corpus Christi man was not injured and responding officers placed him under arrest under suspicion of driving while intoxicated.
